Hello
That's us over there - Merry on the left, and Lorrie on the right - best of friends, and formidable mother-daughter team!

You can usually find us with our heads together - glue gun in one hand, cup of tea in the other - eagerly hatching a plan for our next woolly creation. We are endlessly inspired by nature and are particularly fond of trees in all their countless varieties.

(Oh, and we like ice-cream too!)
Our Story
When Merry was planning her wedding, she read an article that said that in 2017 British weddings were responsible for nearly 5000 tonnes of plastic waste. That’s the equivalent weight of 47 blue whales… in a single year in Britain alone! Around this time, we bought a maple leaf garland that we’d intended to use to decorate Merry’s autumn themed wedding. When it arrived, we instantly realised that we were looking at the problem - cheap plastic products, shipped in from overseas that are poor quality and built to be thrown away.
When we launched Woolly Woods the following year, we knew we wanted to be part of the solution not part of the problem. So our products have been thoughtfully designed and lovingly handcrafted by us over countless hours (and cups of tea!) They are built to last and be reused for years to come. They have been designed to bring colour and joy to your wedding celebration, and to the next happy couple’s, too. And each time our trees are hired to adorn your tables or dress your ceremony they plant a real tree, somewhere in the world where it will have the biggest positive impact on the environment all while helping to support the local communities in the countries
where they’re planted.

Of course, we aren’t perfect - but we are always looking for ways to reduce waste and lessen our impact on the environment, all while offering a personalised service and the best value possible to our lovely couples. We are on a mission to prove that your wedding can be the beautifully decorated celebration you’ve always dreamt of AND give a little something back to the planet in the process. So all you have to worry about is enjoying every single cake-cutting, glass-raising, dance-move-busting moment!

Some kind words from one of our brides:

"From start to finish you have both been very responsive to email, texts and calls and at times you reassured me that everything was going to be okay!
You were by far the best supplier to deal with out of all the suppliers we used. You really did go and above and beyond! We can’t thank you both enough for all your help, you kept me on the straight and narrow those last few crazy months and were still on hand to help after the wedding."
